HAT COLLECTION

 

Atelier of fine hat accessories hand sculpted by designer Elaine Yan Ling Ng and paired with hand woven innovative high strength copper fabric from traditional Maio Ethic Minorities weaver in Guizhou, South China.

 

The HAT COLLECTION has a lightweight body architecture, inspired by the Guizhou traditional hair dressing and pleat work. The hat can be sculpted into different shapes until the best fit with the users head shape and their features. This co-creation design can create ownership with the user for being part of the designer for their own hat.

 

As the material is flexible and sculpt-able, the hand crafted fine hat can be remodelled and sculpted by the user themselves. One hat with multi­ple looks; this can increase the longevity of the product, creating a new model of sustainable couture fashion.
